Staying Connected

We want to keep you informed throughout the season! Most of our information will be sent via email, and we also send out text reminders when possible. Please check your app settings to ensure you have cleared us for both texts and emails. If you use a Gmail account, please mark us as a favorite, as our emails sometimes have trouble reaching Gmail inboxes.

 

In addition to digital updates, you can find information on our lobby bulletin board, and we will send home paper reminders as needed. We also regularly update our website and social media. Please be sure to follow us for the latest updates:

Class Make-Up Policy

We are trying out a new make-up policy this season! Dancers are allowed two make-up classes per season: one during the first half of the season and one during the second half. Dancers may attend another class within their age group. Because we have a limited number of identical classes, this may be a fun opportunity for your dancer to try a new style! Please note that make-ups are not required; this is simply an option we are testing out.

 

In-Class Viewings

We are excited to host in-class viewings from November 16–21, 2026, and April 12–17, 2027. These viewings will take place during your dancer's regular class time. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents to come into the dance room to see what we have been working on. Our teachers will guide you through the class curriculum, allowing you to truly feel and experience the environment in the room. It is a fun way for our dancers to connect with you and showcase everything they have been learning!

Monthly Tuition

Tuition is charged to your account on the first of each month.

 

*   1 Class per week: $80/month

*   2 Classes per week: $160/month

*   3 Classes per week: $200/month

*   4 Classes per week: $240/month

*   5 Classes per week: $280/month

*   6 Classes per week: $320/month

*   Group Voice Class: $120/month

Studio Protocols

 

*   Water: Please bring a reusable water bottle to class. We do not have a drinking fountain, though you may refill bottles in the restroom. A water filling station is coming soon, but we always recommend bringing your own bottle.

*   Arrival & Check-in: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in at the front desk and change into your dance shoes. Please leave street shoes and personal belongings in the lobby.

*   Dance Room Policy: Classes start promptly. Dancers will line up outside the dance room door when instructed by staff. We have a strict "no street shoe" policy in the dance room. The only exception is for Hip-Hop classes, which require clean sneakers.

*   Departure: After class, teachers will escort students out to the lobby, where our front desk staff will ensure everyone connects safely with their parent or guardian.

*   Lobby Etiquette: Our lobby is a "calm zone." Please refrain from running or climbing on furniture. Children under 6 must be supervised at all times. As we are in a new location with a busy parking lot, we highly recommend walking your student in and out for the first few classes. Please establish a clear pick-up plan with older students.

Winter Spectacular: December 19, 2026

We are thrilled to announce a mid-season showcase at the El Camino Performing Arts Center! All students will be participating, with the exception of our Adult classes and Caregiver & Me classes. (Note: These classes will have the opportunity to perform at our end-of-year recital with everyone!)

 

*   Performance Date: Saturday, December 19, 2026 (Exact showtimes are TBD and will be announced very soon).

*   Rehearsals: Thursday, December 17 and Friday, December 18, 2026. Please hold the time block of 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM for these rehearsals. Please note that dancers will not be called for the entirety of the December 17 rehearsal, and dancers under six will have different time requirements. Exact details will be provided very soon.

*   Costumes: These will be rentals. Dancers must wear a "changing leotard" under their street clothes to arrive at the theater. You may purchase a changing leotard from the studio for $15, or you may acquire your own.

*   Rental Fees (Due September 25):

    *   1 Class: $70

    *   2 Classes: $120

    *   3 Classes: $180

    *   Note: Backstage Dance Company members have separate fee structures.

*   Tickets: On sale November 16 ($18 each). Details on how to purchase will follow closer to the date.

*   Recording: All dancers will receive a digital link to a professional recording of the show.

End-of-Season Recital: "The Story"

Our end-of-season recital will take place at El Camino High School.

 

*   Dates: Saturday, May 15, 2027 and Sunday, May 16, 2027. (We will host two, possibly three performances depending on enrollment). Please hold these dates; however, we will have additional rehearsal dates pending confirmation from the theater.

*   Costumes: Dancers will purchase and keep these costumes.

*   Fees (Due January 15, 2027):

    *   1 Class: $90

    *   2 Classes: $150

    *   3 Classes: $200

    *   Note: Backstage Dance Company members have separate fee structures.

*   Tickets: On sale April 12, 2027 ($18 each).

*   Recording: All dancers will receive a digital link to a professional recording of the show.

Additional Events

*   Themed Weeks: Keep an eye on your email for fun themed weeks throughout the year! For example, during the week leading up to Halloween, dancers are encouraged to wear their costumes to class—look out for "Spooky Steve," who is making the trip over from Arden Manor!

*   California State Fair 2027: All students who perform in our end-of-season recital will be invited to perform at the California State Fair 2027! We may also have other performance opportunities for all dancers throughout the year, so please always be on the lookout for dates and requirements.
